Missing Referring Provider

Edit Register Error – Referring Provider

This common Edit Register error seems to show missing Referring Provider information.


Bring up the transaction in question and find the Referral field. Select the light bulb to the right to bring up the main record of that Referral.

*** Note:  If the light bulb is greyed out and does nothing when you select it, then you don’t have the rights to make changes to the Referring Physician records. A supervisor will need to either update the record or change the user rights. ***

Futura is designed to remove the credentialing at the end of any specialist and referral record. This is done because most insurance companies reject claims with credentials.
